Blakes and Link Employment

Blakes and Link Employment find paid work, voluntary work, work experience and training for people with learning disabilities, mental health problems and people recovering from drug and/or alcohol misuse.  

We offer candidates practical careers advice, support with job searching, support with writing CVs and completing application forms, interview training and continued support and training while in employment.

We also provide training and support for candidates through one to work, group work and courses on IT, access to work and work preparation.

IT Centre

Blakes and Link also provide access to the Internet at our IT suite/UKOnline centre.   Candidates can develop IT skills, access job search websites and access eGov services.   

Blakes and Link is also a UKOnline Centre.  UKOnline is a government scheme that gives everyone the right to access the Internet.

Information for Employers

Blakes and Link offer advice on the Disability Discrimination Act and employment law and practical guidance on using aids and adaptations to support disabled employees.   

We can also provide equality and diversity training for employers.
